A cool spot
in the heart of summer
The supervised beach at Saint-Aulaye
Situated in the water retention zone of a dam, the beach offers a soothing setting with little current. Supervised from early July to late August, from 2pm to 7pm, it is sanded every year with white Landes sand. The bathing perimeter is around 2,500 m², and a second area with a depth of less than 90 cm is available for the little ones.
There’s also a canoe base, and stand-up paddle and pedal-boat rides can be booked here.
Festive atmosphere

Summer events at Saint-Aulaye beach
The beach at Saint-Aulaye is also home to a Bar-Restaurant open all summer long, where you can enjoy live music and watch the fireworks being set off at popular festivals.
You can also buy pizzas, French fries, sandwiches, crêpes and ice creams to eat during your day at the beach.
On the other bank of the Dronne, you’ll also find the
Double Accro. tree-climbing park.
