Loops not to be missed in Périgord Vert
Echourgnac loop (10.7 km): Discover the ponds of the Double, the Cistercian Abbey of Notre-Dame de Bonne Espérance, and taste the local cheese: La Trappe.
Boucle des étangs de Rioux Martin (10.8 km): A country hike that starts in a village with a remarkable church, then follows a stream around a large pond, then a wooded section.
Boucle de Vanxains (13.8 km): Leaving from the village of Vanxain, with small roads and forest tracks, ideal for a family outing.

Discovery and exploration trails near La dordogne Verte campsite
Two trails leave from Saint-Aigulin (11.5 km and 14.2 km) to help you discover the European pond turtle and its habitat. The trails are marked by numerous educational panels.
A trail starting in Saint-Aigulin (4.4 km) runs alongside the Dronne River and introduces you to the European mink, an emblematic and endangered animal in the local area.
The tour of the blue lakes at Guizengeard (3 km) is a lovely walk, with ponds in 50 shades of blue. Perfect for a walk with the young ones.
